Born in Boston and raised locally, Anisia graduated from Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, Massachusetts. She continued her education at Brown University where she extensively pursued her interest in Studio and Fine Arts. After having spent her junior year at the University of Madrid, Anisia graduated from Brown with an extensive knowledge in the History of Fine Art and a degree in Spanish Literature. Her design career began in New York City where she was an account executive for Liz Claiborne Inc. In 1987 Anisia brought her expertise “back home” to Boston where she worked with renowned interior designer William Hodgins. Having attended post graduate classes at the Boston Architectural College and through the hands of experience of myriad projects, Anisia cultivated an in-depth knowledge of the building construction process and the implementation of interior design. Anisia Gifford Interiors was established in 1999. The firm’s success in and commitment to the design profession is evident by Anisia’s enjoyment in working with a wide range of clients and project objectives both large and small.
